“Nóiníní” means “daisies” in Irish, and I chose it as the name of my child development centre because it represents simplicity, beauty, and natural growth. Daisies are small but resilient flowers that thrive in wild, open spaces, just like children flourish when nurtured in safe, supportive environments. Nóiníní symbolise innocence and new beginnings, which aligns beautifully with early childhood development. I wanted a name that felt gentle and joyful, while also rooted in nature and meaning. The word itself is soft and melodic, evoking a sense of warmth and welcome for everyone. Nóiníní grow together in groups, reminding me of the importance of community in parenting and child development. Just like daisies open up to the sun, I aim to help children open up to the world through sensory exploration and play. The name feels grounded yet hopeful, capturing the heart of what I offer. Ultimately, Nóiníní represents growth, connection, and the beauty of everyday moments in a child’s journey. Daisies just happen to be my favourite flower too!
