Occupational therapy (OT) helps children develop the skills they need to participate in everyday activities — like playing, learning, getting dressed, using their hands, and managing emotions or sensory input. OT can support children with a range of needs, including developmental delays, sensory processing differences, motor coordination challenges, and more.
I work with children of all ages for occupational therapy assessments and intervention. My Sensory Foundations sessions are specifically for babies and toddlers aged 0–3 years.
It begins with a free, no-obligation consultation where we discuss your child’s strengths, needs, and any concerns you may have. From there, we’ll decide together whether a full or targeted assessment is most appropriate.
Full assessment: gives a broad overview of your child’s development across multiple areas.
Targeted assessment: focuses on a specific concern, like fine motor skills, sensory processing, or attention.
Each assessment includes a parent consultation, observation, relevant assessment tools, and a written report with recommendations.
Following assessment, intervention includes:
- A goal-setting session
- A personalised home or school program
- Regular check‑ins to monitor progress and provide support
My goal is to make therapy practical and easy to implement in your child’s everyday life.
Intervention is carried out via telehealth, which means we meet online through secure video calls. This allows support to be delivered directly into your home or your child’s learning environment — where it matters most. It’s flexible, convenient, and often more meaningful for families.
No referral is needed. You’re welcome to contact me directly to book a consultation or ask any questions.
Sensory Foundations is a series of weekly group sessions for babies and toddlers aged 0–3. Each session focuses on one of the senses and includes a mix of sensory play, simple activities to support development, and education for parents in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Yes! These sessions are for all families who want to support their baby’s development in a fun, evidence-informed way — no diagnosis or referral required.
OT consultations and assessments vary depending on your child’s needs. Sensory Foundations sessions run for approximately one hour and follow a consistent, gentle rhythm each week.
If you have any questions or queries, get in touch via WhatsApp or email. To book a consultation, you can easily schedule online through the website.
I’m based in North Co. Wexford, Ireland, but I offer consultations and intervention services via telehealth to families across the country. Assessments are conducted in person at my clinic.
